Chico‛s famous custom-made traveling cooking units, specifically constructed to our specifications, are safe, clean and efficient. The very slight amount of smoke emitted is both aromatic and pleasing, and an important part of any true Southern BBQ experience. These cookers never produce the common backyard BBQ fl are-ups or greasy smoke that often makes for food that is bitter and unappealing. The enclosed rotisserie chamber within the units has been designed to self baste the food, and to produce that juicy golden-brown fi nished product Chico‛s has become known for throughout the Capital District. All our cooked food remains enclosed within our cookers, protected from dust or debris that may be stirred up on a windy day, until you and your guests are ready to enjoy. Inclement weather such as rain, snow, or wind has no effect on our equipment. The fire is completely enclosed within it‛s own chamber, safely containing all hot ashes and cinders. This results in a safe and hazard-free experience for both your guests and your facility. Unlike some other traveling BBQ companies that use open pit cooking, Chico‛s BBQ never requires a large amount of site space for setup, and the space we do use remains safe at all times. Since all heat is contained within the cookers, your site will never be exposed to burning or scaring in anyway. When we leave, the only trace of our existence will be the memory of a true southern BBQ experience for you and your guests.
